The 17th Annual Gorrie Elementary Walk-A-Thon will take place on September 25, 2026 from 8:00-10:00am, bringing together students, teachers, staff, and families for an unforgettable morning of fun, fitness, and Jaguar pride. Every lap walked, every dollar raised, and every cheer shared helps strengthen our school community.
Together, we'll Walk. Run. Roar.—all while raising funds that directly support the students, teachers, and programs that make Gorrie extraordinary.
⭐ What to Expect
Parents are invited to join their child(ren) as they kick off their laps around the school. After crossing the finish line, students will celebrate with a morning full of superhero-sized fun, including:
- 🎉 Interactive field games and activities
- 🎵 Live music from a DJ
- 🍿 Snacks and refreshments
- 🐾 Plenty of Jaguar spirit and unforgettable memories
We'll finish the event with one of Gorrie's favorite traditions—the top fundraising class will earn a super fun mystery prize! Stay tuned... you won't want to miss it!

This year, our goal is to raise $75,000 to help provide exceptional opportunities for every Gorrie student.

Walk-A-Thon Spirit Week
The excitement begins before Walk-A-Thon Day!
During Walk-A-Thon Spirit Week, students are invited to show off their school spirit by participating in fun superhero-themed dress-up days. Each day is a chance to celebrate creativity, teamwork, and the superpowers that make every Gorrie Jaguar unique.
Together we'll Walk Run Roar all week long as we count down to our biggest event of the year!
